NISBET, JOHN "JACK" THOMAS The funeral of John "Jack" Thomas Nisbet, husband of Murial (Mountain) Nisbet, was held from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John where the service was conducted by the Reverend Karmen Hunt, assisted by the Reverend Valerie Hunt. The Eulogy was read by Jack's son, Tom Nisbet. Musical selections were performed by Barry Snodgrass. Honourary Pallbearers were; Ross Lefurgey, Elwood Johnson, Randalph Griffin, Lee Mitton, Norman Jost and Hazen Underhill. Floral tributes were received and memorials were placed to Alzheimer Society of NB; Canadian Cancer Society (Saint John); Saint John Free Public Library, including one from Fundy Library Region Technical Services; Alzheimer Society of Canada Research; Saint John Boys and Girls Club Endowment Fund Inc.; Lung Association of NB; Children's Wish Foundation of Canada (NB Chapter); and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB. Interment took place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens, Saint John.

MELLOR, RUSSELL A. The funeral of Russell A. Mellor was held from Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Msgr. Brian G. Sheehan. Mary Mellor was the lay-reader. The pallbearers were Robert Mellor Jr., Richard Mellor, Thomas Mellor, Paul Mellor, Mike Wilson, and Wayne Adams. A donation to the Children's Wish Foundation was received from Gondola Point Grocery. A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society was received from Bayside Power. Numerous floral and spiritual tributes were received from relatives and friends. Interment took place in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Westfield, with prayers at the grave by Msgr.
