THANK YOU THORNE - The family of the late Clinton Thorne would like to express their gratitude to everyone who was so kind and helpful during this difficult time. All the cards, flowers, donations, emails, visits and food were very much appreciated. Thank you - to Pastor Nick Graham and Rev Owen Dawe for the beautiful service, Carolyn Steeves who sang three of Dad's favorite songs, the pall bearers and all other family and friends who participated in the service. A special thank you goes to Anne for the eulogy and the slide show. Thank you to the Salisbury Funeral Home for their caring and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements. The lunch after the funeral was wonderful. A special thanks to the 4th floor staff of the Moncton Hospital who cared for Dad during his hip surgery. Thank you to the 5th floor staff who cared for Dad & Mom during their 7 months stay before moving to the Kenneth E. Spencer Home. Thank you to the staff of the Kenneth Spencer Home who cared for Dad during his time there and has comforted Mom during these difficult days. A special thanks to Betty Keith for the time she spent with Mom when everyone was busy with funeral arrangements. A special thanks to Les & Jessica Chapell, Wilmot Smith, Patricia Dale, David Hodgson, Carisle Chapell and all others who helped with the horses and wagon, so Claude and Roy could drive Dad to his final resting place. While Mom watched from the car, she said, "This is the last ride for the Three Generations" Finally, a thank you to Clinton, for being a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend.
